Each year, the Murphy Group of Restaurants celebrates the excellence of its locations during our annual MGR Awards Dinner. The night gives us a chance to recognize and celebrate the contribution of our various locations to the overall success of the Murphy Group of Restaurants.

Human Resources AwardThe Murphy Group of Restaurants Human Resources Award is presented annually to the location that strives to achieve overall excellence in all components of human resources which include: training, staff development and motivation, administrative tasks and Health and Safety.

President's AwardThe Murphy Group of Restaurants President’s Award is presented annually to the person who best displays outstanding enthusiasm, leadership and dedication to quality, service, cleanliness and overall dedication in the running of their operation.
Criteria for this award includes: marketing plan and execution, community activities, administration activities of store, which include payroll, paperwork and Human Resources.

Unsung Hero AwardThe Murphy Group of Restaurants Unsung Hero Award is presented annually to someone who has demonstrated outstanding qualities in the running of their operation. This person takes a tremendous amount of pride in the MGR principles of operational excellence and has shown an extra effort and perseverance in helping the company, mentoring their staff and giving back to thier community.
This award is intended to recognize the manager who has performed good deeds, built pride within the compnay and should be honored for their exceptional efforts as an unsung hero.

W.A. Murphy Memorial ScholarshipThis scholarship is awarded annually to a student enrolled fulltime in a program at the Atlantic Tourism and Hospitality Institute. Applicants are assessed on overall performance in the training program, their previous experience in their chosen field and their commitment to that field and their program.
